This amazing joint family venture is nestled in a Small Gully on Roennfeldt Road in Greenock, a sub-region of the Barossa Valley. The joint venture is that of three families: Robert Bader (Vigneron), Darren Zimmerman (Vigneron), and Stephen Black (Winemaker).
Small Gully Wines began in 1999 with the winery being built in 2002. The operation has vineyards in the most sought part of the Barossa Valley as well as the Adelaide Plains.
Robert and Darren have superb low-yielding vineyards with Darren’s vineyard being planted in the 1930s. The wines are crafted by Stephen Black and his sons Charlie and Joseph.
